The Run with the Trojans crew is proud to invite you to its 6th annual race. We are very excited about the 6th year of this event, and we would love for you to come and Run with the Trojans!

The Run with the Trojans road race supports various local youth running organizations, including the Troy Trailblazers. This club began in November of 1995 and sought to encourage a healthy lifestyle through running for students of Troy high, as well as community high school athletes. Three times a year the Trailblazers perform in the Junior Olympics.

The Run with the Trojans also supports collegiate running. Run with the Trojans has donated to the College of Saint Rose cross-country team. Last year the proceeds were donated to the new Hudson Valley Men's cross-country team.

The "Run with the Trojans" is our chance to put on an event that the whole community can take part in and enjoy. Not just for adults, but for children too, we hope to make the first Saturday in June an annual day that we can all come together in the spirit of health and fun. To make the event as entertaining and successful as we have, many local businesses and stores assist us. Any and all help is undeniably appreciated, as we attempt to create what will become a staple of early summer in Troy.

Inferno Pizzeria has offered to host their 6th annual post-race picnic at their restaurant on 79 Campbell's avenue, for all runners and community members. Inferno, along with the many other sponsors, are greatly appreciated for their help along the path of constructing this race. Last year Talham, Inc. donated road cones to protect the runners against traffic, The City of Troy donated a police car, The Franklin Terrace Ballroom donated tables, L & S garden center donated fruit and Brad Lewis Lawn Care donated his trucks and equipment for the event.
